Dr. Alaine Arnott Named to List of Most Admired CEOs
Each year the Business Journal seeks nominations from the public for its Most Admired CEOs. A total of 25 honorees were selected by the publication’s editorial board.
“On behalf of the Board of Directors, I want to congratulate Dr. Arnott on this recognition of her incredible efforts in leading the National Liberty Museum,” said Dennis Egen, Chair, Board of Directors. “Great things are happening at the NLM as we launch our Year of Free Speech, and Dr. Arnott is the driving force behind our ongoing transformation.”

Dr. Arnott was named NLM’s President and CEO in December 2021, after having served as its Chief Operating and Financial Officer since 2019. With over two decades of experience in for- and non-profit leadership, Dr. Arnott champions strategic change, spearheading the National Liberty Museum’s future with a new interpretive plan and vision.
Before joining the National Liberty Museum, Dr. Arnott served in progressive leadership roles at several organizations, including Acme Technologies, Inc., the University of Missouri, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art. She has taught at both the University of Missouri and Drexel University’s Westphal College of Media Arts & Design.
