NLM Celebrates: PARK(ing) Day

September 16, 2022 | 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Free

Each year, PARK(ing) day invites cities around the country to rethink what public places can be by transforming parking spaces into miniature parks. This year, NLM takes our latest exhibition truth* to the streets in a pop-up experience designed to surprise and delight. Share your personal truth in an anonymous Truth Booth, and take part in a live game show all about separating fact from fiction.  Prizes available. See you outside!

PARK(ing) Day was founded by Rebar, a San Francisco art and design studio, in 2005 to raise awareness of the need for green spaces in urban environments. Philadelphia celebrated PARK(ing) Day for the first time in 2008 with over 25 installations for relaxing, cycling, creating art, education, and socializing.
